iPad Mini? We’ll Know Tomorrow

Tomorrow is another big event in Cupertino, California as Apple is expected to announce the next generation of the iPhone.  With all the hype and speculation that usually precedes one of these events comes a very strong rumor that a smaller version of the iPad will be part of their plans as well.

If Apple does release a smaller iPad intended to compete with the Kindle Fire and other consumer devices, it will be very interesting to see if the tech world’s answer to “swing voters” decide to swing in the direction of the iPad for the holidays.

At Ai2, as we look for new and innovative ways for wholesale distributors to serve retailers, we wonder if this is a step toward giving each retailer their own iPad to place orders.

That probably sounded pretty crazy when iPads all cost $800, but $299 makes a tablet solution easier to adopt.
