Amazon Adding Electronic Lockers For Package Delivery @ 7-11 Stores

Your convenience store just got more convenient.  Amazon has introduced a new program whereby consumers can buy something from Amazon online and pick it up at their 7-11.

The shopper will receive a code from Amazon, visit the store, punch in the code and receive their package.    Size and weight limits apply but 7-11 stores are often open 24 hours, making package pickup a snap long after the UPS Store closes.

No more getting something delivered to the office or risking something valuable left on your front stoop.

The service is in place in select locations in DC, California and New York.  It looks like a win-win for both companies, increasing sales traffic and foot traffic in the c-store space.
