iPad Mini + Content Management App = A Win for Students

The iPad Mini debuts tomorrow and consumers are eager to get a look at the specs, price and availability of the latest version of Apple’s market-dominating tablet.

One market that is expected to benefit is the education sector, where tablets have been making inroads since the debut of the first iPad.  Not every school district has the budget to deploy the full $800 version of the iPad to each student.  The rumored $250-$300 price point for the Mini makes it possible to deploy to more students.

A tablet is more engaging for students, easier to carry than several books, and brings a multimedia approach to learning that many modern educators prefer to rote memorization/regurgitation of facts.

Ai2′s content management and document distribution solution fits in with the strategy of saving paper and ensuring that PDFs, images, videos and other educational content are delivered to each student.
